The Twangfest volunteer board of directors, also known as the Twang Gang, meets several times annually, face-to-face and via the Internet, to put together all that is Twangfest, from soliciting bands, to organizing and publicizing every aspect of the annual Twangfest event in St. Louis. The Twang Gang donate time, professional services, cash, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to Twangfest. Meet the Gang below.
Marie Arsenault has several years of experience in marketing, promotion, fundraising and event planning. She’s currently a booking agent in St. Louis, MO. She’s also a board member of the Americana Music Association.
Jason Baldwin is a photographer, a designer and a decent cook. He hates music, but we like his pretty pictures.
Chris Bay is a software developer and an avid fan of vinyl, books, and whiskey. He hosts an indie rock show on KDHX but the contents of his record collection betray a deep love of twang.
Roy Kasten is a writer, teacher, DJ, semi-professional contrarian
Dale Fisher is the Twangfest Social Network guru. He is a non-profit arts Web & Multimedia Manager guy by day and is obsessed by music & tech by night. The lure of the honky-tonk wrecked his young life.
Nico Leone is Co-Executive Director at KDHX 88.1 FM, Saint Louis Community Radio. He would love to have something clever about him written in this space. But it’s probably not going to happen.
John Wendland is a musician currently with the St. Louis roots-based act Rough Shop. He works as a purchaser of telecom equipment for CMS Communications. Chicks dig him.
Rick Wood is a St. Louis-based architectural modelmaker, artist and little-league coach. He and his wife, Nancy, host monthly house concerts in their home.
