A note from Twangfest

Dear Twangfest friends and fans.

Twangfest was started 24 years ago by a small group of passionate music lovers and musicians. The idea was to showcase the finest in American music — honky tonk, blues, rock & roll, pop, folk, soul, and so much more — in the amazing music city of St. Louis and to do so with the spirit of a grassroots community. We’re incredibly proud of this run, one of the longest of any festival around, and it’s all been possible because of the support of people like you.

And so we’re sad to announce that Twangfest 24 will not happen this year. Touring schedules and the feasibility of large gatherings for the summer and fall remain uncertain. As an all-volunteer, non-profit music organization, our mission is to produce events of the highest quality and safety; under the current circumstances, we just can’t do that this year.

But the good news is we are already regrouping and planning to return in 2021. Till then, stay safe and stay healthy. Keep supporting each other and keep supporting local (and national) musicians and great venues like Off Broadway in any way you can.

We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
