Join us for the Twangfest SXSW Day Party at the Broken Spoke in Austin. Now in its 17th year, the Twangfest party is among the most anticipated afternoon events during the week-long South By Southwest gathering.
This year we will have one amazing event with 10 bands at the Broken Spoke: Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Known as one of the great country music dance halls in the world, the Broken Spoke has hosted everyone from George Strait to Asleep at the Wheel, Bruce Robison to Dale Watson, Willie Nelson to the Derailers. It’s a big (600 person capacity), warm, historic and absolutely dance-friendly hall, with great home cooking and some of the coldest beer in town.
The Broken Spoke is located at 3201 S. Lamar Blvd. Austin, TX 78704.
Take an awesome virtual tour of the Spoke!
As always, the Twangfest SXSW party is free and open to the public, with RSVP required. Just become a fan of Twangfest on Facebook and RSVP for the event, and you’re set. You may also RSVP by email, if you prefer (sxsw at twangfest dot com).
Each RSVP may bring up to three guests. RSVP does not guarantee admission. Entry subject to capacity.
Party runs noon-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 17 with two stages at the Broken Spoke. Doors will be open at 11 a.m. for early birds!
